That must be made out of fudge. There is a post somewhere with the ford Ecat page showing the parts list for the components in the boot area.

Update. I took it back and it has been replaced F.O.C. I just hope the new one lasts longer!

Well done.

If they argue get sales to remove one off the demo cars , hopefully they break theirs then no more disagreement over who is paying.

My dealer is fixing the broken clip under warranty, no questions asked. Apparently mine is at least the 4th Puma they have seen to suffer this problem. I can't believe they have to replace half of the trim just for that tiny thing though! I had just complained about the shoddy job their guy had done of my window security etching this afternoon though, so perhaps they would have tried to charge me otherwise...

These fittings are extremely flimsy and in my view not fit for purpose. Since they are only a few quid to buy, Ford knows that nobody is going to sue them or start a class action so they probably couldn't care less. The dealer should replace them if they are a decent dealer.

Mine all fell off when I went of a camping trip with a full boot a few weeks ago. Took me ages to work out how it all went back together again, but fortunately nothing was broken, just fell apart.

I would try gluing them first and of course, you could also visit the showroom and have a look around the Puma casually pulling one off for your own use and quickly shutting the boot down (if the dealer won't play fair he deserves it).

Mine has snapped off too. Bad design by Ford. Going to try superglue; if it doesn't hold, will take back to dealer.
