Intermittently over the past week, the audio chimes from the parking sensors have been really faint... almost as if it’s like the batteries are going on it. That’s the only analogy I can compare it to. Anyone else having this issue?

Is it only when you're in reverse gear? Or the same when you're driving forward and the front sensors are quiet too?

When it happens it’s both. Can’t think what could cause it, especially as it’s not all the time

So have narrowed it down to this has only started happening when my phone is plugged in to Car Play. It never used to do this as I always had my phone plugged in to CarPlay

Did approx 60 mile in my car today, returned home and normally when putting the car away I hear the reverse parking sensors bleep, I don’t tend to look at the screen or dash because I know that I am near one side in the garage, anyway today the noise was different and park assist was showing on the dash. Any ideas

Thanks, had a look, shouldn’t be the battery since it had just done approx 60 miles on various roads and last weekend probably a little more. Car not used during the week but try to give it a good run on weekends.
My car has the dreaded Rom battery, will keep a check on it.
