SYNC 3 Updates

Has anyone been brave and installed update 20021 which is floating around the web for there sync system yet ?

My version is 9101_PRODUCT is this what others have ?

Shows my car as up to date. Does yours show an update required?

Yeah mine is showing up to date as well , I have seen on other forums later builds but nothing from official sources.

will we ever get the wireless android auto?
I hope so... I have a huge phone, and with the cable I can't keep it in his place, it's annoying =.=

Don't think we'll get wireless. I think hardware is required.

I connect my phone through the armrest storage box usb and leave my phone in there too. Don't need it when android auto is running.

If you google FordSyncDownloader you can find a programme that will update to the latest version 20021 and the F9 maps. I have raised a query about our sync version so will see what response i get back from them before using this to update.

I have used similar more manual processes on my previous fords (focus,ecosport) with no issues.

I have used it on previous vehicles and updated via usb. As there are currently no official updates I can remember if it offers a Mac option.

This is a little strange as I have just noticed on the ford update site that there is a map update to F9 for my previous car ( still have VIN number) but there is no update for my Puma
