What cost did they cut for a couple of months??...If, as we suspect, it's a software problem, then the cure isn't going to cost much.
That said, I remember when the Mk7 Fiesta I had buckled a wheel. Even though almost everyone who had a particular set of wheels had buckles, Ford wouldn't admit anything...
In days of yore one would just rip out the factory stereo and speakers and replace with a decent set up.....Not that easy today and you would think that the teaming up with B&O would be enough to negate that sort of action anyway.

I've raised a ticket with B&O (someone might take responsibility). They didn't have anything car specific, but, asked for someone who could help if they couldn't....I'll keep you posted.

@Wdf76, we already seen part of your 7D0.01.02 config and you have surround sound 'not available' in menu and the intel/moto difference. Yours is a strange example.
5 days after mine and 12 days before one built that has surround with 19274 build. Need to find one built before mine that has surround. Found someone on FB with 19200 and surround but they’re not responding to messages

Just had a call from my escalation manager and Ford Tech Services had confirmed to her that a software fix IS available. Apparently it’s on the internal Ford network and she has it in an internal email. She will talk with the dealer and make sure that they know what it is and how to apply it !
She will call me back tomorrow after speaking with the dealership
