Went out for a shop, weather good so roof opened and all windows open.

Next thing I know, the parcel shelf stretchy thing decides to start flapping all over the place! Didn’t completely obscure the rear view, but very distracting.

Went away when I closed the rear windows.

Gavin.

Doesn,t surprise me , the parcel shelf is flexible , witch is a good thing when you have a high load in the back.
It will form over the load.
but why would you drive with all your windows open especially when you have the roof open ?

What the hell do you expect?

The shear force of air rushing through cabin is bound to make the parcel shelf flap unless it’s made of granite!!

That’s not a design fault, that’s physics.

I get the point, but the tailgate I will use more than having all windows open in the life of the vehicle.

In fact I’ve had issues like this once in my lifetime with with the windows all open and it was making something flap like mad.

I prefer to have aircon cooling me and have my air filtered than breathing in the air outside when driving.

That’s my opinion but I get the point about the material.

I prefer it, I don’t have an issue with it and are happy what Ford are or should I say achieve with the shelf out the way every time I open the boot.

Don’t forget you can remove it if it bugs you that much?
