Space saver was a build option on petrol only, can't see it listed on the price list to buy later, best off asking a dealer.

And if it's hybrid, it won't fit in the megabox, 68l compared to 80l for the non-hybrid.

Yes I know it won't fit in the box but I don't feel comfortable with no spare so was wondering if the focus would fit. Didn't get the option to buy one when ordering.

Never had one on the Ecosport, in three years never had a puncture (going to put a curse on it now) plus have used a squirty can on a Porsche Cayenne, it does work.

Just reviving this oldish thread ... It seems the space saver wheel would be 125/80R18, making it around 660 mm in diameter. The megabox width is about 640. So, it looks to me like the space saver wheel would not quite fit.

This seems odd to me, that that made the megabox tantalisingly too small. Am I right please?

Which box do you have? They changed the size/shape a couple of times...

Square box, as I say, about 640 x 640.

I got a spare wheel and tyre ,125/70/16, which is the size quoted in the handbook, from an independent dealer for £150, fits in the larger megabox.

These are 18" wheels. So that would not be the right diameter (580 mm for a 125/70/16, compared to 660 mm for mine).
