Problem description:

A problem may occur with the current Telematic control unit (TCU) software, which could affect the functionality of the eCall system. As a result, emergency service may not be contacted in case of need.

The Ford Puma models affected by this recall were manufactured between 15 July 2019 and 12 February 2021.

Ford recall code: 21C12
Affected models: Explorer, Puma, Focus, S-Max, Galaxy, Kuga
Vehicle numbers (worldwide): 680
I didn't get any recalls on my First Edition and have checked since and nothing outstanding. If only 680 vehicles were affected worldwide, there won't have been many (if any) Puma's involved.

Mines booked in for the 31st August, they did say issues getting the replacement parts, think the first date they offered to do it was 17th August, so that sounds about right

The CURRENT recall is 22c16. Dates given for these affected this year. Mine falls outside of this. It definitely worked before some update occured.

My puma is booked in today for the fix. I will confirm if it actually resolves the issue once I get the car back.
