Sync voice recognition
I'm struggling with using voice commands for the satnav, in particular when using the command "Destination Home". It just doesn't recognise "home" when I say it. It asks if I mean "Holme" or "Hulme" or other similar names. My wife can manage it get it to work sometimes but not always. I don't think I've got a particularly strong accent. I'm Scottish but I've lost 95% of my accent. The only way I can get round it is to say "destination" then wait until it gives a few choices, of which "home" is one of them, and it recognises it then. Anyone else have problems with this?

The voice recognition is rubbish. You would be better off plugging your phone in and using Android Auto, the voice recognition is far superior.

Well Sync 3 covers several functions. Phone calls is only one of them. Don't think satnav is phone dependant.

You are right, but, I meant your phone is already in use so using Android Auto wouldn't make much difference. Your choice, obviously, glad you found a workaround to the onboard problem.
