Power tailgate retro fit
Might be hope for you guys ,there is a company called BAS systems which might be able to fit one,I have just written to them for a price,so fingers crossed,I saw a lovely titanium in frozen white with everything on apart from the power tailgate for £19500 with 25000 miles on the clock,a bit high mileage
Good news for all of you who would like to retrofit a power tailgate, there is a company called auto ease from China who make a kit for the puma
Come on Ali, people need links...... https://www.autoease.com/
$699 from China (£576) Plus fitting if you use one of their approved fitters.
Not sure who would be that desperate to be honest.

Ford Puma ST-Line Desert Blue
i looked into this a yr or so back and you would need quite a lot of donor parts, struts, modules, boot latch, looms, foot sensor, anti trap side trims, looms etc so it would be quite expensive ,as for the emerald things,i fitted some once to a fiesta the wife had and they threw the boot open with such force that after a while the original strut brackets started to bend and crack so i had to buy new ones from fords,i ended up refitting the orig struts and chucked the others
On my previous car,Seat Leon FR MK3.5, someone discovered that by using the gas struts off a Skoda Octavia you would get auto opening on the tailgate remote button.
Apparently they were the same length as the Leon but we're stronger to cope with the extra weight of the Skoda's tailgate. I think I payed about £35 for a set of two on Amazon.
Someone will discover a similar mod for this, in time I'm sure.
I think the problem we have at the moment is this is a relatively new model and the majority of people who own them are on PCP/ lease deals etc, so are reluctant to mess around with their cars. Given time when more and more filter through to the second hand market maybe more mods and retrofits will appear.
I myself own my car outright, and I tend to keep my cars for 5 year's Plus and am constantly looking for ways to make mine a better more personalised version of what I bought. I've started with a few mods already only having the car 5 months.
New set of ST alloys.
Bonnet struts.
Sequencial mirror indicators.
Carbon fibre mirror covers.
Heko wind deflectors.
