Default Volume Level for USB Audio

I decided to have a change after several decades listening to the radio so I downloaded my iTunes to USB-C. What I have noticed is that overnight (okay during the day) the volume level resets itself to 6 at the start of every day.

Is this just me or is there is a default USB Audio level somewhere in the settings? :?:

I'm having the same issue with yhe navigation voice on android auto. If i change it to 4, it automatically goes back to 6 for the next instruction and that's much too loud for me.

Do you change it while the voice is actually saying something?

Yes, that's the way I do it. Not sure if there is another way.

Some people just expect the volume to change when they turn the radio volume down....
Which Navigation app do you use. I use Waze most of the time on AA and in the App settings there is 'Guidance volume' which you can set to your desired level.
Also in Google Maps, if you go into settings - Navigation settings - you can set the guidance volume to 'Soft' 'Normal' or 'Louder'.

Can you set the volume via your phone buttons?
