Hi has anyone experienced problems with their Puma automatic. I have picked mine up today 7 months old. When driving it home it is juddering when trying to change up gear & when I got home it smells of burning :?

Straight back to the dealer! My automatic is exceptionally smooth and of course no burning smells.

Thanks. I bought it from Motorpoint & have arranged to take it back tomorrow for their technician to look at it. I even got my son to drive it incase I was being too heavy footed from coming from a 2 litre diesel automatic. I love the car but 1 hour of owning & already an issue isn’t good

Hi,
Is this a brand new car?
Perhaps its the paint and waxes underneath that are getting hot.
Mine took a few trips before the smell settled down.

Nope, he said it's 7 months old so it may have been abused by the original owner or desposed of quickly because it was a Friday afternoon car. Sounds like the clutch burning out to me.
