Rear disc brake failed

That’s Ford prices! My mechanic has quoted £250 ish for the pair with discs and pads.

I’ll be pushing for a warranty replacement though at 3k. The front aren’t that much better really.

Not the disc it's the pads that cause the issue. I'm about to claim for a rear set. They look like they're off a scrapper. Mines just gone in to be painted, that's taken 3 months to get sorted. Perseverance and the patience of a saint is key..... I was never blessed with either and must finally be growing up.

It seems that drums are now fitted to the rear...

Mine is April 2021 and has drums fitted. Fortunately they are painted in matte black or at least on ST-Line..

Mine are still making the scchhh noise when stopping and also when manoeuvring just as the car comes to a halt I get squeal/ squeak/ chirp which is annoying and embarrassing. Might mention it again because Ford want my car to go to a dealer to sort the pesky dab logos
