Jumped out to take a quick pic whilst up in the North Yorkshire moors.

The road/scenery is Blakey Ridge which runs from Kirbymoorside to Castleton. A great road in any car, but watch out for the sheep!

Nice! I hardly ever see any in black, especially an ST.

It's a lovely road which I've travelled many times over the last sixty years.

Stupid question but do you recommend a Yorkshire driving holiday? Done lots in Scotland and fancy Yorkshire and Kielder Forest (hangover from watching Group B Metros on tv!)

Yorkshire has plenty to offer either coast or inland, Northumberland too, especially the coast. In between is Co Durham. Plenty of majestic moorland roads and sandy beaches. Less traffic than the south is a bonus.
