Looks really nice. Mine will be the same colour when it arrives. Wheels look good but I think they will be a pain to clean, especially getting through the spokes to the barrels. Have you tried using a wet spray like Gyeon Wet Coat to give it some protection until the weather warms up a bit? That's what I'll be doing. I bought a ceramic lite coating thinking the car would arrive in October but too cold for that now. Shame they didn't spot/fix the door on the PDI.... that's what its for.

Mike I'm ok with it. No water ingress and no wind whistling from the door so ok for the moment.

Vendée, I checked out the Gyeon Wet Coat on Amazon and there are 6 variants; which one are you referring to. Thanks.

Just looked on Amazon and could only see 1 variant..... the one I use but it was really expensive at £19.75. I bought mine here https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/collecti ... m-wet-coat and it costs £12 for the same size. There is probably some postage on that. I spent over £50 there so my postage was free. I've only used it once as a trial on my current Fiesta and it goes on really easily. Spray onto wet car, one panel at a time, immediately pressure wash off and repeat on next panel until its done. Then dry car normally with a drying towel. You can really see the shine and the water beading. I think Gyeon claim up to 3 months durability. In reality I would say 6-8 weeks but you don't have to apply much so I think one bottle will last up to 10 treatments.

Looking at your photos I see you have Continental Ecocontact 6 215/50/18 fitted. Then I looked at the price of those on BlackCircles. Ouch.... £152.69 fitted. I hope they last well and that we don't get a puncture

I tore a hole in my nearside rear and had to have it replaced at a few months old. £142.00 via Halfords at home service, not something I'd like to repeat on a regular basis. :(

It seems like a similar product to Autoglym Rapid Aqua Wax which I use already. I'll try the Gyeon when that runs out. As for the tyres, think I'll be going with a cheaper but similar tyre when necessary.
