Re: The E5 vs E10 debate.
I can't be precise, but I'm noticing that since using E10, I've had to drive even more carefully to maximise my MPG to the point that it is getting boring and I'm still 2 or 3 MPG below what I was getting on E5. The question is, should I go back to E5 and is it worth the extra cost for a couple of M...

Re: End of cheap Fords.
If Ford try to rebrand as premium, they will need to 8mprove their build quality and truly produce premium vehicles, something they have always been in capable off to date, so it will be interesting to see. I agree that the Chinese look like they are going to take over the mass market by producing t...

Re: TYRE PRESSURE MONITOR
I use the onboard tyre monitor as a guide but do check them with a digital gauge if the car is telling me they are getting low. So far I have found the onboard system to be extremely accurate and pretty much match the pressures on my gauge. I honestly feel that I can trust the system. Of course pres...

Re: Passengers side seat belt
One solution to the seat elt rattling against the side of the seat or side of the car is to keep it plugged in when it's not being used.

Re: Roadside assist
£205 sounds a lot for an oil change to me, so I will wait for the first serviced myself. I've had a few of my Fords serviced in their warrenty periods and always ask for the breakdown cover certificate as they never provide them automatically. It's a bit disappointing that you have to have a totally...

Re: Windscreen washer fluid
However good the fluid it that you put in the bottle, the jets will still freeze over in the coldest weather. takes a bit of engine heat before they warm up.
No the jets are not heated.

All batteries perform worse when they are very cold, though I haven't noticed any problem with my MHEV

Re: Turn signal clicker sound is too quiet.
Try turning the stereo down a bit.
TBH, I do find it slightly too quiet, but it's not a big deal for me.

Re: Another battery drain one!
A pretty awful state of affairs when we have to keep charging the batteries on our new cars. In the 18 months I've had the Puma since new, I've charged mine overnight about 4 times. There are issues that Ford do not want to admit to and my number one suspicion is that the Romanian Rombat batteries a...

Re: MPG after 7000 miles is really awful
Well 35 sounds pretty awful to me. That's even low for a maniac driver or someone who does a lot of short trips. When I've actually measured the miles I'm getting from a full tank and calculated the MPG it's slightly lower than the reading on the dashboard but I've still got an average of over 54 MP...
