Be careful fitting anything other than a standard SLI battery as the charging strategy may not be compatible.

Re: Battery problem update
Without a 48 volt battery I believe the Vpp is hard to control. So no 48 volt battery and the DC/DC will not charge.kelper wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 5:02 pm If the diagram here viewtopic.php?p=7633#p7633 is representative of the Puma, the loss of the 48V battery does NOT mean the 12V battery won't charge.

Re: Battery problem update

I've talked to an auto electrician on the phone today after gathering more and more snippets of info from the forum. Adding those to the issues I'm having with the flickering of the screen behind the wheel, dead stop/start system (Even when it had been fully charged at the dealership) the seemingly...

Re: Battery problem update
Does anyone know if the deep sleep/power saving issues affect the Aircon? Just been for a 30 mile drive on a relatively warm day and the Aircon is blowing warm on the coldest setting. It's going to the dealer tomorrow for the deep sleep issue and just wondered if the Aircon was a separate problem. ...

Re: Battery problem update
The lithium battery is being used while driving in fact it is key to turning my 1 litre engine into a 155bhp speed machine😂 Nope. The 155ps peak comes completely from the engine. I think I am right in saying that both batteries are charged via the same system Not really. The 48V battery is charged ...
