Re: Battery problem update

Non-MHEV has an Alternator which looks like a traditional alternator  MHEV has BeltISG, DC/DC and 48 volt battery. From the diagram on the previous page the "AC/DC inverter" and "inductive motor" are in the same package and it's called the BeltISG. The BeltISG looks identica...

Re: Battery problem update

I'm curious to know the strategy of the recharging process. I may be wrong but I think the priority or a big part of the charge goes toward the 48V battery, then one time it is full, the charge goes to the 12V one. Or better I hope it's not this way. It would be interesting knowing which % of the c...

Re: Battery problem update

I think the stop/start is disabled when the generator does not have enough capacity to charge the 48V and the 12V, so when the 12V battery SoC is too low the stop/start is switched off. There are a number of inhibits for start/stop. If the 12 volt battery SoC is poor the engine is kept running even...

Re: Battery problem update

That's also why when a repair is needed there's a procedure to disarm the battery. No special disarm procedure is necessary for the 48 volt or 12 volt battery. No the 48 volt battery can not turn you to ash. The terminals/poles on the 12 volt battery are permanently live unlike the 48 volt battery ...

Re: Forscan / APIM Modifications

Build file is the config settings. I'm looking for the dynamic PID information to try and interpret.

I guess it might but what's your reasoning for wanting to retain that piece of date information?

Re: Thumping sound from speakers and no power

APIM probably stuck in reset loop due to poor 12 volt supply.
