I'd still like to know why mine went from working to not working. Something must've killed the modem and surely that can only have been some form of update from Fords ? If they've got to replace all the modems, FordPass quoted 50,000 affected to me, then thats gonna take a hell of a long time surely...

When I collected mine in June the dealer made a point of ensuring I had app downloaded and that it was connected to car as he said they get penalised if it's not done

Fordpass conversation tonight, fix could be weeks away, but they're working hard at it. 50,000 plus customers affected ! Thats a lot if compensation.

Thanks desert, I just need switched live with the blackview. ended up using 2 as you suggested. wasn't sure if that'd be enough as batteries pulling 9A on charge but so far all ok.
