I'm interested in the Kuga PHEV, but I probably wouldn't trade in for one because it is vastly more expensive than the Puma and I don't need the extra size. Besides, it's probably less fun to drive than the Puma.

Remember it is not a true hybrid, Ford calls it a mild hybrid. Hybrid implies that the car can be driven on batteries or engine. With mild hybrid it is just a boost or regenerative braking to save fuel. It requires the engine on 100% of the time.
