Well if my bonnet was sitting any lower it would be out of line with the noise section. I would be very interested to look at cars where the yellow release lever is genuinely not visible at all from any angle with bonnet closed. Well it's not visible on mine, I've even been out to double check it. ...

Yes....The Google assistant reverts, like the cars system, to a default level at each instruction. If you use Waze instead of Google Maps you can alter the volume within the Waze app and this works nicely with the head unit.. Google Maps only lets you alter the volume down to 'Softer, Normal or Loud...

I haven't touched the alarm settings but think it's in Settings- Vehicle Settings - Alarm Settings - Ask on Exit - Toggle on/off

Yes, IMO, it should be covered by warranty, but if it's just out of alignment a little a decent dealer would sort it fairly quickly anyway.

Used them about 8 years ago (when they did chips). They did the all the bonnet and bumper chips for about 50 quid, doubt it would be that cheap now. The guy did a good job, they are all franchises though so results may differ. You could try another one fairly local to see if you get another answer. ...
