Re: Solved; Spare Wheel Problem ###

Never a drama until you have a puncture, I get that, however there's far cheaper ways of equipping your car with a spare.

Scrap yards usually have loads put to one side, taken from cars that haven't been rear ended.... 😄

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

Thanks for the replies. Very much appreciated. I'm looking forward to picking it up (one more sleep). I'll let you know what battery make it has once its home. I'll pop a photo on the gallery too while it's still clean. ;-) One more thing... You should consider asking your dealer to show you your c...

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

That's the spirit. Drive the wheels off it, they love to rev, pick up quickly enough, thrum along quite happily @75 and are nice and comfy. Sure you'll love it. 👍

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

Don't be deflated. It's all good. Ignore Ford Pass. If your car starts, you're good to go. You may replace the rombat (if fitted), however we have seen problems with deep sleep for a forum member with a Varta installed. It's purely down to the charging strategy and software used to control this. Som...

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

Ford app was already useless before deep sleep.

I don't look at it, therefore get no warnings. My 12v 🔋 is crap but every morning I go out it starts. I can live with that.

Re: Brake disc scoring

I'd rather the brakes and other friction parts didn't contain asbestos. It's always sad to read of yet another retired mechanic who has succumbed to Mesothelioma. If all braking systems were as bad you'd see rotten discs on all cars, you don't. Even our fronts are unblemished which leads me to belie...
