Re: Battery problem update

Car went in last night (booked in for today) Just spoke to the garage and the battery was at 40% and one of the first things to go is the passenger door remote feature. Had the discussion about how often I drive etc and gave the same response as I did last time it went in! The new message on the ap...

Re: Battery problem update

Could be a larger battery drain than normal. Most cars have a battery drain to some degree when idle, The Puma seems to be more than most. But there's rarely a problem in starting a Puma even after a couple of weeks.Ford should investigate thoroughly. This problem is putting a lot of potential buye...

Re: Ford pass app

Well I got all the journeys recorded - then this week nothing and now the whole of the last 30 days have disappeared. Also just got a driver door opened report whilst I’m sat in the house. Checked and the car is still there and locked. Now just received a message to say my last journey was recorded...

Re: Tyre pressure sensors.

Hmm, as a confirmed technofobe, I'm always a bit reluctant to tackle jobs unless there's someone I can call to bail me out when I mess up! But I'll give it a look and see whether my none skills can manage it! Thanks. The tyre pressure read out on your vehicle should be taken as a guide only and as ...

Re: Auto lights

It’s a long story but nothing to do with my 5’8” height or my stance 😉 Bang goes that theory! :) 👍 Haha. The name was given to me when we had a team meeting a few years back. We were discussing a competition to take us all to a ranch in the US and decided to give each other cowboy names. We had Cur...

Re: Tyre profile 18"

No idea. The 40 profiles seem to be 30% more expensive than the 50's. I might be tempted to go back to 50 profile when the original tyres need replacing in a few years time. There is a significant difference in the rolling diameter (nearly 7%) so you probably won't be able to do that without making...

Re: Tyre profile 18"

Apologies for that, mistakenly attached the wrong image, that’ll teach me to post whilst on the move (not driving though!). Interestingly it would seem the profile for all 18” wheels have been reduced - wonder why they did that? No idea. The 40 profiles seem to be 30% more expensive than the 50's. ...

Re: Tyre pressure sensors.

Hi. First time poster. Has anybody encountered issues with the tyre pressure wheel sensors? I have a January 2020 St Line X first edition and up until two weeks ago everything has worked fine. However on my first long trip for a couple of months, after about 30 miles the dashboard display alerted m...

We’re flexible with posts and where they are as long as common sense (and the search function) is used 😆
Search function
If you can think of a search term that isn't a "too common word" then the chances are that nobody has ever posted it. :D ;)

Re: Impossible dream

There probably won't be any levelling out for at least 5 years. Fewer people trading in because they either can't find a new car they want, or, new vehicle prices are just too high. The used car market will be solid for a long time. You may well be right. However, during that time pumas will come o...
