It’s not that bad unless you want a full fat ST.

My guess is that if people want a fast car then an EV will be the way forward. They can be frighteningly quick. Not sure they are for me yet though.

Re: 2024 Ford Puma announced

Surprised it still has a manual handbrake.

Only auto in anything but the 125.

Steering wheel looks horrible.

At least the armrest is bigger. Hopefully it can accommodate an arm!

Rear lights - if anything needed upgrading it was them!

Not the best facelift in my opinion.

Re: MPG

Changing down for a bend slows the car and gives much better driver control. Changing down for a junction or traffic lights is also good: you will need to be in a low gear anyway to accelerate away in any event. What you need to avoid is changing into too low a gear, which could cause the engine to...

Re: Looking at getting a new set of tyres

Can someone please explain why new tyres can't be fitted to the front, I've never come across this before, if I've needed two new front tyres, they've put them on the front, unless if I wanted to swap back to front. Confused.com It is due to understeer and oversteer. Understeer is when the front ty...

Most fitters do. Obviously Wilko either don't or don't train their fitters correctly. They also came back at 2.5bar on the front!

Re: Tyres

People who say "we don't get that much snow... it's not worth the money...." EVERY TIME this country experiences snow the roads grind to a halt and people get killed. Why? Use of inappropriate tyres. If people fitted the correct tyres a) the roads would close less often since people will ...

Re: Looking at getting a new set of tyres

Unless you can 100% guarantee you will NEVER drive your car in snow or ice, then you should really only be considering all-season tyres. Why manufactures still insist on fitting summer tyres for cars supplied to a country as far north as the UK beggars belief. Most other European countries do not p...

Re: Ford ev sales

So they should pay the same for parking, they take up the same space. Agreed but it seems our London Mayor made an exception. Evidently they currently pay for ten minutes and can stay up to four hours. The General Parking Discount for EV’s in the City of Westminster ends in April. EV’s will ...

Re: MPG

I find the computer fairly accurate too. I have a 155 and my average over the last few thousand (trip 2) is showing 47.9. At the moment, with the winter and my wife driving more around town (she likes the winter pack) it’s doing around 45mpg. I never use Eco mode. The wife always uses Normal but I’m...
