keep it in overnight to trickle charge the battery... Good luck with that. It can take days to recondition a 12V battery and even then it doesn't always work. Neil, the charge system service now message has nothing to do with lack of driving. It has everything to do a fault on the mhev system. Roast that manager next time

Two different faults. Exhaust emission sensor is the lambda or oxygen senor screwed into the exhaust. Sounds like wiring fault.
The DC/DC converter fault is more interesting. I take it the weather in Fife ain't +50 degrees right now?!

What you are saying is Ford are updating their software for no reason at all! The software gets updated to address problems for sure, but why pay to apply it if you aren't going to benefit from it.
