Re: Engine jerking/stuttering under acceleration
Hello all, I have bought a used Puma ST from 2021, with 13k miles on the clock. Recently, the car has been stuttering/jerking under acceleration (heavy or light load, at highway cruising speed, happening once every 100-200 miles I would say, very randomly). Two-cylinder in eco/normal mode sometimes...

Re: Ford Assist
I had them out to my last Puma when the battery died on the drive....They were there in about 20 minutes and had me up and running within a few minutes.
Can't fault them, I think it's a must have and the cover you get is top notch.

Re: New Ford EV teased
The simple maths is totally contrary. “They say” Who are they? the interested clueless cuckoos? That could be you for all we know >🤷♂️......Seems to be going nowhere this discussion, like most it's just getting polarised. Lets reconvene in 5 years time to see where things are then eh? We should al...

Re: New Ford EV teased
"Even if we all switched to EVs overnight, we estimate demand would only increase by around 10%. So we’d still be using less power as a nation than we did in 2002 and this is well within the range the grid can capably handle." You seem to be assuming everyone will charge 32m cars all at t...

Re: New Ford EV teased
I think it's best to agree to disagree as no one knows really what the future holds. It doesn't really matter what the opinion is as to whether it will work or not, the only consolation will be that the naysayers can say 'I told you'. Lets hope there are some with far more knowledge than us mere mor...

Re: New Ford EV teased
I feel your pain...
Thinking about it, all these arguments must have been put forward by those who didn't want to give up their horses as there were no filling stations anywhere etc etc etc...

Re: New Ford EV teased
Like I say, unless you both do mega miles it won’t be an issue. If you need to charge twice a week, just alternate evenings when it’s plugged in. Leave it overnight to charge on the cheaper rate. It’s a common misconception and I was guilty of thinking the same, that you plug it in every night, but...
