So I'm at 4800 miles, car purchased end of June and my oil life is now showing 68 %. If it continues i reckon I'll need an oil change by this time next year. Is anyone else's diminishing quicker than they thought ??

I agree it's a bit geekish, however logic would say Ford are only updating when there's an identified need. It's the flip side of why should the dealers do the updates, why do Ford issue them then ??

APIM shows 'checked' , date updated anyway, on ETIS occasionally. Definitely doesn't show every time I hit check for updates on sync
