Re: Coolant top up
There are many coolant circulation loops in the engine if it's any similar to older Ecoboosts. Dunno if it contributed to coolant level fluctuation in my Fiesta but at some point it did fluctuate quite a lot. Sometimes between min and max, sometimes over max. This kept happening for a couple of year...

Re: Ford Puma 7 DCT
So how's the dct to drive ? Is it keeping the revs in suitable range ? What I mean is that is it keeping the revs high enough when cruising uphill for example ? Since some automatic gearboxes keep so low revs that the engine will rumble and shake. Yes, probably last century. :D This is my fifth For...

Re: Check your tyre pressures.
You can reset the tire pressure monitoring system after you've set up the new pressure. Dunno how it's done in Puma though. Search the menus.

Re: Reject?
Hmmm, weird. Shouldn't there be insulation of some kind. Like in my Fiesta I see only this rubber thingy that is between the bonnet and bumper gap. I assume Ford would use similar design in Puma.

Re: Brake disc scoring
Ours are a little noisy - the discs looked quite rusty but don’t seem to be scored. I’ve put it down to the fact the car has been laid up for a couple of months and hoping things quieten down once we’ve done a few more miles. It's normal for the discs to get rusty even if you let the car stand in m...

Re: Learnt something new today
Only the first editions had it as standard. It's even an option on the new st line X vignale..... Still not got mine to operate. I cant even see anything that resembles a sensor or wires or anything at back of bumper. Mine is a st line x first edition plus. If you look in the handbook it has an ast...

Re: Headlamp panel alignment
Headlamps sitting uneven in alignment with the bonnet, driver’s side higher than passenger side, but bonnet, wings and front all aligned correctly. Are the headlamps supposed to sit proud of the bodywork or all be smooth? Just been out washing mine (bloomin' raining now!) and if I'm hypercritical m...

Appreciate your advice :D You'll probably enjoy the adaptive c...

Re: Ford Puma 7 DCT
Some car dealers gave put 0-62 time 10,4 sec for the Puma with automatic gearbox. Not sure if it's correct but that would mean that it's a bit slower than manual 125 bhp Hybrid. Though the electric engine probably gives the advantage for the hybrid. The "official" (UK) 0-62 is 10.2 secs. ...
