Re: 1 ltre eco boost
I wonder if the newest iteration of the 1.0 engine still has an electric coolant pump for the turbo. In the old one that was used when turbo needed extra cooling after turning engine off.

Re: Centre console
Centre Console gets red hot when air con is on. Noticed it back in July car finally going into Ford on Monday after 6 week wait, they tell me getting Specialist technician in to fix it, they think itβs a problem with a vent. ST- First Ed Plus Ok. That sounds way too hot then. Hopefully they'll fix ...

Re: Armrest USB type?
Under front seat (drivers side). Doesn't make sense. Must be a typo. You meant on the non driver side ? Nope (drivers side). Big red 48V terminal cap + battery cover. See attached. Okay, Im surprised. Thought that it prevents seat height adjustment. Or does it ? Maybe it's on the non drivers side o...

Re: Centre console
The heating pipes run inside the center console. The heater matrix is also there, so it'll get warm occasionally.

Re: Ford Puma Automatic Ecoboost 1.0 (Non Hybrid)
10,2 seconds for the automatic in 0-62 mph is all I know The 155bhp hybrid is 9,0 s so there is definitely a noticeable difference in speed. Obviously the hybrid one also has more torque.

Re: Puma warranty and battery warranty
I am also a bit worried of the Puma 48V battery lasting life. Since it will go through many charging cycles during its life time quite quickly I assume. Though maybe it's not too expensive to replace. Your concern is charge cycles? It's not like a drill battery where you charge to FULL and then use...

Re: Puma warranty and battery warranty
I suppose not many owners are interested in their warranty length :) One thing that sucks is that Ford is advertising it's warranty 5 years (in Finland) but it is actually 2+3 years where the last three years it's a limited warranty. Just don't like this kind of false advertising. I am also a bit wo...

Puma warranty and battery warranty
Hi, in Finland all Fords get a 5 year warranty (2 years full warranty + 3 years Ford protect limited warranty). I don't know about the Puma battery warranty. How are things in the UK or elsewhere ? Do you know what kind of warranty does 48V battery have ?
