I did a USB update a few days ago but the XML file isn't on my USB stick. The car's display shows Sync 3 Software version 3.4 Build 222_PRODUCT. Is that the latest version?

Don't know why you turned them off to start with. I turned Autofold off as I park on my drive and didn't see the point in having the mirrors fold inward every time I came home. As Rizmo said, try the button on the drivers door to make sure they do still fold/unfold when asked. Then as long as you have enabled autofold in the settings when you lock the car they should fold.
