Re: Keyless entry passenger side failed - common problem?

Yes - sorry re the spelling mistake! I am now thinking of getting a Röhr Intelligent Car Battery Charger for AGM / GEL / WET Batteries - DFX-40 and trickle charging my Puma as recommended by others.

Re: Keyless entry passenger side failed - common problem?

If I get a Varma Stop/Start battery replacement, which is the most powerful model that will fit?

Re: Keyless entry passenger side failed - common problem?

Thanks, Alan.
I feared as much - unfortunately mine is out on the drive all night and I suppose the frosts we have been having plus "only" 6k annual miles is catching it out. Pretty poor though!

Keyless entry passenger side failed - common problem?

My 2 year old 155 ST line X periodically has a failed keyless entry on the nearside door. Despite placing a thumb on the straight lines on the handle, nothing happens, either to lock or to unlock the car. When it happens I also lose half of the opening/closing automatic tail-gate beeping sound volum...

Re: screen washer low warning

Well, I have now answered my own question by letting the fluid get low and finally run out. This symbol has appeared in yellow just to the left of the degrees Centigrade symbol on the left of the coolant temp. display (see dash picture posted by Stoopo above). It may not be on all versions but mine ...

Re: New Puma

Yes this "grey" colour is a marmite one, and no mistake. Those of an older generation (I go back to the 1960's with cars) would do our own amatuer repairs at the weekend to keep our old bangers going, and we would always prime a "work-in-progress" repair with grey primer (matt of...

Re: Green pedal, foot and upward arrow warning

Thanks very much, Lightfoot - an appropriate name, given that that is what the system is tellin me to have!

Green pedal, foot and upward arrow warning

Took the car into Main Dealer for battery checks (nothing found) and since I got it back I am getting this warning in green on the dash display when approaching a T junction which is also displayed as a branching T shape. I assume it is telling me to take my foot off the throttle because I am going ...

Re: Tyre pressure sensors.

I had my Puma for over a year before I could find out how to reset the tyre pressure monitoring system. It turned out that my Manual had the "Select Vehicle" line missing from the followingcorrect version: Resetting Tire Pressure Monitoring System - Vehicles With: 12.3 Inch Instrument Clus...
