Re: Full electric Puma on its way ....

Yeh, until the changing infrastructure improves I'm not going anywhere near a change to electric. I follow a few guys on youtube who have bought and then sold electric cars...reason for selling.....not enough charging stations. We need 300 of real miles and a 10-80% charge in 30 max. The next gener...

Re: Full electric Puma on its way ....

Years ago there was talk about burying induction cables in motorways and larger A road routes so that your car would recharge as it was traveling. That would have meant that you could drive the length of the country (perhaps going on holiday) and arrive at your destination with almost a full charge...

Re: Full electric Puma on its way ....

Did a 420 mile round trip last week in the Puma - and had 60 odd miles remaining in the tank according to the display. Can electric cars do that.... Pulled into a service station for a bite to eat and all the electric charging points were occupied. That would have caused difficulties! Electric cars...

Re: Full electric Puma on its way ....

Just seen this elsewhere, so thought I'd log back in to post.. I think this will definitely be an option when it comes to replacing our current car.. still miss the Puma tbh. I can't see us going back to ICE vehicle again after having an EV either. It will be interesting to see how they package the ...

Re: Selling advice / experience Motorway, WBAC etc.

I recorded this last night. On my radar to watch (whilst I’m looking at what I can order as a replacement). Seeing as though we don’t need two cars, I’d be happy to wait it out for delivery. Are you selling then Neil? My old Puma has already been snapped up from the dealer by the looks of things :s...

Re: Selling advice / experience Motorway, WBAC etc.

We recently sold ours.. got prices from WBAC and Motorway.. WBAC was ridiculously under priced. Most Ford dealers have a Sell Your Car section on their website now and in the end this is how we did it. I checked a few local ones. The amounts offered varied by around £1500 so it's worth searching aro...

Re: No DAB stations listed

Losing the logos on DAB can be caused by having "slideshow" enabled in the radio settings. Worth a check? As above fixed mine, the dealer even had it for 2 days with instructions from ford and couldn't get it to work. Was told by ford not to do a master reset because it would wipe phone s...

Re: Swapping STLX FE for Kuga STLX PHEV

We looked at the Kuga phev too when deciding to change the Puma. Be wary though as cars over £40k list price with options have an additional tax levy of over £300 for years 2 - 5 (I think the Kuga just missed out on this). This includes plug in hybrids even though their overall emissions are relati...

Re: Impossible dream

Shame you weren’t happy with the fuel economy. What’s on your radar as a replacement? Yes it is a shame as the rest of the car was great. I still think it's one of the best looking cars on the road today, especially in that colour with those wheels! We're going electric.. got a stonking lease deal ...
