Re: 1.0 ecoboost timing chain or belt check
Puma 1.0l is the revised engine with timing chain, not the wet belt although the wet belts are fine as long as oil changes are done on time using the correct oil grade. The revised engine is identifiable by way of having it’s turbo at the rear of the engine and inlet at the front.

Re: Get oil changed at 1 year old or not?
1.0l eco boost in puma’s is the redesigned engine with turbo at the rear of engine and it runs a chain not a belt as on the previous 1.0l eco boost, but I would still do a oil change every year.

Re: Goodbye wash leather
Not good advice to direct your pressure washer onto the brake callipers as it will end up washing the grease off the slider pins which can lead to brake binding or pulling.

Foxes
Anyone had problems with foxes jumping Onto your car at night, nearly every night recently a fox has walked all over the bonnet and roof leaving mud and fine scratches , very annoying having to wash the car much more frequently.

Re: Puma ST Delivery and Spec
The LSD really is not necessary unless you want to do track days, the torque vectoring traction control is so good it mimics what a LSD does to a large extent.

Re: Clutch
How do you know the clutch is not ridden, you should ask to see the worn parts after replacement, if the clutch lining is worn away and the pressure plate is in good order then it is probably down to driving style.

Re: Keyless entry
Your keys go to sleep after 20 secs of not moving so no need for a faraday pouch, also once car is started it will run without key being anywhere near the car but once engine is turned off will need key signal to restart.

Sounds like they mean they are too high in the Rev range at motorway speeds.

Re: Fuel consumption Puma
Done a 120 round trip last weekend not a fun fast drive but not driving like an old lady either and trip reading was 61.8mpg, I was quite pleased with that.
