Re: Engine, dashboard and radio screen won't start

Well done to the Forum and it shows just how powerful a group of like minded people can be. Hopefully this will resolve your problem. Hopefully it will not happen again. I have been told its happened as a result of an overload on the electronic system, it required a "Reset" just as we rese...

Re: Alloy damage/flaking issue

Hi, from past experience of main dealers, or a good quality sales pitch, they normally check the wheels upon their purchase of the vehicle, in line with the Ford pre delivery inspection route. If any of the wheels look a little shabby, they will flash all the wheels with a paint. That way all the wh...

Re: Puma - possible next car

I had so much apprehension about switching my main drive to a Puma 1 litre ecoboost. Especially after what I read and heard on the grapevine about these engines being unreliable. My brother is a manager at a large Ford dealership and swore blind that the number of vehicles being returned for engine ...

Re: [How-to-Guide] LED Sequential Side Indicators Upgrade

This is a great tutorial and with the added step by step, (almost) guide and photos should convince anyone thinking of this upgrade to go ahead and do it. I added a basic "How To" with regards to fitting these, some time back. I still have mine, they really do the Puma some justice and sho...

Re: Electric mirrors not working .

The confusions abates. Strange if this has anything to do with reverse gear shenanigans. If the windows were partially opened as this drama unfolded, it may have caused an error in the complex system. May I suggest trying to start the car whilst holding the window down button. See if this reboots th...

Re: Battery / Module issue Ford Puma ST

This was my exact issue shortly after purchase. The vehicle completely shutdown whilst out and about. The battery was flat. When at the main dealers close to where I live, they insisted that it was a module problem and that by updating them would resolve the matter. On picking the vehicle up, one of...

Re: Key Battery

Snap, me too. Just over 2 years old. I have been told to use the keyless entry more to save on the battery usage.
It's an easy swop though, so no big headaches or cost. Small 2032 battery, good make.About £3.00p.

Re: Sat Nav issue

Hi Lightfoot: You do have to physically cancel the route, either by pressing the red X button, arrived at destination, or cancel route button in the set up. If not the sat nav thinks you have not arrived and will continue to calculate it. Don't like the standard colours on the sat nav, wish I could ...
