Re: Noisy Brakes

I just had a chat with the technician at the dealership and asked him about the noisy brakes. He’d just driven in back and agreed they were noisy and the rears were rusting. He says Ford are looking into mine and many others. So it’s watch this space I guess. I’ll be pushing this after my holiday fo...

Re: Battery problem update

Friends came round yesterday and asked where my car was. I told them it had gone in for the battery to be conditioned. They have a 69 plate Volvo V40 diesel and have had loads of issues with their battery since they got the car from new. Stop/start hardly works and their sync equivalent is always sh...

Re: Noisy Brakes

Still ongoing with mine. They are very noisy but Ford won’t commit to them being covered under warranty.

They are looking into it and will get back to me after my hols.

Re: Battery problem update

I would probably ignore it too if I wasn’t parking it up for five weeks. Anyway a condition and recharge won’t go amiss I guess? Then after the hols I can arrange for the paintwork sorting and hopefully the rear discs. I’ve been promised free mudflaps too. Annoying that the great person I was dealin...

Re: Flaking paint on alloy wheels.

Looks like they just sprayed the gold over the original silver without any prep. The paint quality with the Puma is pretty bad in general. I’ve had mine back four times for blobs, and paint runs on the rear door, flaking inside the skirts and even what looked like grit under the surface on the back...

Re: Battery problem update

Is it just the message that it's shut down to save energy, but comes to life as soon as you turn on the ignition? Or, does it not come on once turned off? It’s happened about four times since March and every time after the car has been parked up for a couple of days. The message comes up just as sy...

Yes, I got that, bit confused by remote unlock and lock as mine already does that on the Ford Pass App when I wasn’t expecting it to, as not got keyless entry on mine
Remote lock is much better on the pro app.
