Best car: 1985 Golf GTi. Had to sell, just starting off as a chef in 97, and getting back home at 2am in the morning with a full janspeed exhaust wasn't neighbour friendly

I get that sign every time I drive into London on the M4 flyover bit. I have absolutely no idea what it means, maybe it's a sign used in another country? because its not in the highway code. Probably something sat in the computer code somewhere that hasn't been taken out for UK signs

I do find losing one's shit in the dealership especially when it's busy helps. Had similar problems with VW 4 years ago, after I took my 6,4 frame into the dealership and started loudly saying what a bunch of thieving liers they are I had a car withing 4 days.

If you have the original delivery date in writing and it doesn't say estimated delivery, then they have to by law supply you with a vehicle on that date, even if its a hire/loan car until yours is ready. that's the law under the consumer protection act or what ever its called now. Now unfortunately ...

I cleaned my car for the first time in 10 months.
I'm no expert or even really barely competent, but one coat of polish and I'm very impressed the the result(I'm also rubbish taking pictures)
Off for a well earned beer.

Thought I would try some hypermiling on yesterday's commute.
130 miles of A roads with a couple of city centre stops on the way E10 fuel as well, so pleasantly surprised.
Normally hit around 50mpg on that run.

Starting to get better figures now its warming up a bit.
