Re: Reversing lights
I could be wrong about this, but I believe it is an automatic feature that they come on when reverse gear is selected. They also come on when cornering at speeds above 18mph or so, that is the left foglight if steering left, right foglight if steering right.

Re: Headlight brightness, dipped beam
I've been flashed too despite driving with dipped headlights. I'm a bit paranoid about it as my last car (Astra) had incorrect reversed settings on the manual headlight leveling system from the factory. Position 0 should be used for driver only, but I was getting flashed a lot driving at night/early...

Re: Irish Ford Puma Owners
Traded my 2018 Astra GTC (Diesel) earlier this year, cost to change for ST Line spec with metallic paint was €13.5K. I think that was a pretty good deal as my motor (being an Opel) wasn't an easy sell for the garage.

Re: noise and vibrations
My passenger door panel seems to be source of vibrations/rattling for me (would appear to be the same issue that @spearmint reports on page 2 of this thread). I'm going to get it looked at my first service. My previous car (Astra) rattled like hell so I'm almost immune to it now.

Re: So disappointed
I guess the battery will drain if the car is parked up. Basically it’s a connected car and will be constantly trying to connect to the app, maps and whatever else it connects to. I’m going away for two weeks next month so it will be parked up at the airport. Does anyone think it’s worth turning off...

Re: Battery problem update
I know this is going to sound bonkers but I found my fix to the issue is actually to put more strain on the electronics while driving, when the blowers are off my charge state sits around 12.3v with the car running, which trickle charges the battery, when I turn the radio up or the air con on, it'l...

Re: Who has had a replacement battery fitted?
Mine has a Rombat battery, build date November 2020 and I picked it up in May of this year. The car had one deep sleep period in July, exactly 2 weeks after I parked it up for a 6-week period. No problems starting after 6 weeks and no issues since, hoping it stays that way.

Re: screen washer low warning
Going on from this. Does anyone think the wipers, especially the left one, are a bit rubbish? I’m finding my screen washers a bit rubbish too really. Maybe they just need adjusting. Can't see I've noticed with mine, although anything is an improvement over the old car which had just one washer jet ...

Re: Knowing me knowing you....
Yes for me and my wife, we both bought one at the same time (3 months old now). I got the hybrid ST Line, and the missus got the Titanium diesel. Mine has the Rombat battery but no problems of note so far other than a slight rattle from the dash. The other car has a bit of loose rubber trim at the t...
