Re: 2024 Ford Puma announced
Really disapointed with this new model - rather than build on a success story these changes seem to be taking the Puma backwards

Re: CD Player
If its any help - a CD player was an option in the first couple of years after the Puma launched - my first Puma in 2021 had one fitted so there are Pumas out there which may come onto the second hand market with them fitted

Re: Autonomous Software Upgrade?
I think the level of technology presently in cars, including the Puma, such as self parking is as far as mankind should proceed with . Fully autonomous self driving cars are a massive mistake and I dont think should be pursued any further. I understand that self driving cars would connect to "t...

Re: Ready to re-order yet?
I really hope this proposed model of showrooms to look and online only to buy doesnt happen - it will just end up meaning everyone pays more . The way to sell more cars is to be a good dealership so that you get repeat business from loyal customers. For the first time in my life I have a dealer whic...

Re: Engine cover
Mud flaps are now an option again. If Ford were doing what they do to reduce plastic use, they wouldnt have brought mud flaps back so I would argue that the decision to do away with the engine cover is purely about cost savings . Im on my second Puma which doesnt have an engine cover whereas the fir...

Re: CD player and engine cover
Music on CD is also very important to me, but in The Puma world the CD is now dead unfortunately. I have a 2021 Puma and had the official Ford CD fitted by my dealer and am very happy with it. In March 22 I ordered a new Puma (both on PCP just swopping) but unfortunately my dealer cofirmed that movi...

Re: Engine cover
It looks as though the current 2022 models being built have a few changes which are not for the better. As well as no engine cover, from another thread it looks as though mud flaps are no longer an option as the mountings to fit them are no longer there, and through some homework Ive done Ive discov...

Re: Questions
Not sure if this is a silly question or not, but in the worst of the winter weather when its below freezing is there or could there be an issue with the self folding wing mirrors opening/closing if they have frozen due to the cold ? As with windscreen wipers frozen to the windscreen you can break th...
