Re: Auto start stop in sport mode

I never use ecomode. I like sport on the motorway for quick action. So many other drivers have mirrors and indicators which don't work haha

Re: Auto start stop in sport mode

I asked the Ford technician about this yesterday whilst at the Dealers. It is for a more responsive engine - when the car is in stop mode the battery is being being used which will then need replenishing.

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

Hi everyone. Since having my rombat changed to varta in April I have had no further battery issues Today I got my car back after a towbar and cycle rack have been fully fitted by Ford (compensation for 2 months stress, inappropriately apportioned blame and 4 garage trips amount to 4 weeks out of act...

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

I don't believe it's a "drive it more issue" I think the rombat isn't fit for purpose. I'm waiting to see what happens with my varta. I'm not changing my driving pattern to keep a battery charged. It's better for my health and the environment if I continue to cycle when I want and drive less

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

That's my theory of 3200ish miles being the rombat life expectancy

I don't think it liked 5 mins use of the AC. If it reappears I'll be calling the dealer.
May I ask what mileage your car has done?

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

It seems problems aren't restricted to the hybrid. Someone commented on my tweet that their petrol was experiencing issues too

Re: Sshh. Deep Sleep.

So my car had ✅ approx 3000 miles when I started to notice an issue. My friend has ✅ roughly 3000 in hers now and hers is bring charged tonight.

Anyone else think theirs started at roughly 3000 miles?

Ps my heaters are always on and my head lights are always on at least as sidelights
