Re: 48V battery replacement costs
The 48 volt battery has never been outside the cabin. When it was in the boot area that was still classed as inside. The water ingress you mentioned is from fluids stored in the boot or megabox area. Push your front seats back as far as they'll go and look for the bright red cover cap and you can fi...

Re: Battery problem update
This anecdotal evidence is great but difficult to assemble a conclusion from. If it bothers you, get one of the plug-in cigarette voltage meters and monitor the voltage during your long drives. Any reading below 13 ish volts and the 12 volt battery is heading towards a deplete condition.

Re: 48V battery replacement costs
I think you'd be very safe swapping it yourself. Looks like seat out and two nuts holding on the conductors.

Re: Stolen much?
There no need for a disc lock on modern Puma vehicles. Save on both the £120 and hassle fitting the thing.
Gain piece of mind in knowing the vehicle is secure from obd theft, key clones.

Re: Battery problem update
Want to try charging the battery. I have a Ctek MXS 5.0 that I use to top up the AGM type battery in my car, but not sure whether the Puma battery is an AGM type or need to put the charger in standard mode. The standard battery is not a AGM. Put your CTEK charger in standard mode, plus recon if you...

Re: Securing an ST
I think it is much like the MK8 Fiesta so yes, whilst there are some improvements to the security over previous Fiesta MKs I think it’s still worthwhile shifting the OBD or at least making it awkward to access. I seem to remember someone saying if the alarm is sounding then the car disables the OBD...
