They come off pretty easily with a bit of dental floss behind them.
Agree that you shouldn't have to, but someone has got the positioning wrong and it might drive you mad now you know...
Personally, I'd remove and just leave it clean, they don't mean much.

Hi Welcome to the forum. Firstly, glad your daughter is safe, it must have been an ordeal for her. Secondly, I don't think it's a case of too many people having the same problem. Most of the battery issues were not connected with total power loss while driving, I think maybe 2 or 3 have had it happe...

Those were the days when we were just pleased we had a car.....Looks and condition didn't seem to matter as long as it went and you could get ladies in it....
