Re: Glare from heated screen
Same here. Aussie car, in case that matters in some way. Doesn't count....You get far too much sun... ;) Personally I don't find it a problem, it's slightly worse on the Ford screen. I had my last one replaced by a non ford Pilkington (Same factory) and it seemed to lessen the effect slightly...

Re: Tyres
Anyone put All Season tyres on? Just wondering if the stiffer tyre walls would affect handling or noise levels? I wasn’t impressed with the grip of the standard fitted tyres during the winter and sometimes on pulling away on wet roads it’s a bit iffy on grip Everyone SHOULD put All Season tyres on....

Re: Queries on new Puma Vignale
Wow....I'll answer quickly what I can. 1. Never bothered with a spare wheel, that's what Ford Assist is for.... 2. Lock or unlock the rear window controls (stops kids opening the rear windows). 3. Exactly the same on the Puma. 4. Never turned keyless entry off, why would you?. Yes the keys go to sle...

Re: Tyre Rotation
Yes, you can rotate the wheels you shouldn't need to reset the TPMS it will adjust automatically after a short run. Not sure how the voodoo works, I try not to delve into such things...

Re: Front door pocket shape?
Does anyone know what this inverted hollow shape is for in the front door pocket? I think it's for when people can't reach the door handle and pull the door shut with the pocket. It stops some of the flex that would occur just by grabbing the pocket edge. Of course......That may be total fiction......

Re: Compare fuel prices in your area
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be....
52.95p per litre is taken by the Government in Tax. Once they get tired of freezing the level of take the price will rocket again.
Between them and the oil companies they have you over a barrel (No pun intended).

Re: Fuel light bingo
Driving around looking for a cheaper petrol station seems false economy... The savings would be tiny... I never look at the price.. The car needs feeding, I feed it... ;) :D It's less about driving around - round the corner from where I live is a Sainsburys petrol station which is usually the...
