Re: Steering Noises

Hi All I have had a knock at parking speed when turning the steering wheel for a while so took the car to a Ford dealer. The guy behind the desk spoke to a mechanic who said he had had this before and he greased the bottom of the column where it goes through the floor. I had found a slight bit of pl...

Re: Can’t unlock from passenger side

Hi I have always had the sleep message come up on the screen since I had the car for 18 mths but everything has worked until recently when the passenger door touch button didn't. I then tried the reset for the battery monitor system as suggested on this forum and now all working again. I have the Ro...

Re: Questions

Hi The first garage said about the convenience check but wanted over £100, just for the check only the other one did'nt mention that check just said it takes up to hour and a half to change oil. Re: Questions

Hi I have always changed engine oil & filter every year and my puma is now a year old, I know its not due officially for two years but I thought I would get it done, two ford garages quoted £150 and £170. Surely this is a bit excessive but does anyone know why there should be such a cost as I ha...

Re: Spare wheel

Hi I have just bought a spacesaver wheel and tyre with new jack and tools from 'Sparewheelcity'. I've fitted a ply board over the megabox and the wheel lays on top but the boot cover does not sit on the higher level supports , just a bit above but I can live with that. The wheel is 430mm and o/a 620...

audio shutdown

Hi Does anyone have a way of increasing the amount of time before the the audio shuts off when the ignition is off. I was parked under trees in a dark area whilst waiting for the wife, radio goes off and the only way to switch back on is to put the ignition on which meant the auto headlamps come on....

Re: noise and vibrations

I have found similar to Luca's problem but at lower revs, really does sound like a diesal. Gear change a bit hit & miss if trying to quick change sometimes.
