As the TDI box is not an ECU remap it doesn't void the warranty. Once unplugged the car's engine is just as it left the manufacturer.
Difference - well I notice a difference but it's obviously not earth shattering, it's only an extra 28 or so bph and a tweaked torque curve.

Don't know what the current price difference is between a 125 and a 155 but TDI Tuning box is under £296 and will take a 125 up to 155

Confirmed on a drive this afternoon. That red light is part of the Distance Monitoring under Driver Assistance/Pre-collision. It will be turned on or off with Distance Monitoring. If it's on it will come up no matter which info screen you've chosen, whenever it calculates you're dangerously close to...

Could be the 'you're getting too close to the vehicle in front' warning light
Joking aside, there is a red circular warning light top centre of display which I assume is part of the Pre-collision Assist system.

Any one know how to open the fuse box in the engine compartment, without snapping off anything! My windscreen washers are dead and no washer motor noise, so want to check if fuse blown or motor dead.
