Re: Headlights
If you want bright and road legal halogen bulbs you only have two options. The Osram night breaker laser or Philips racingvision. They don't last as long as the less bright halogens but if one wants the brightest possible bulbs those are the ones.

Re: New member looking to buy
Ford just updated their configurator in where I live (Finland). Options are now more limited. For example cannot get the B&O stereo in regular Titanium spec as an option at all. I bet there'll be some changes coming in the UK also, though not necessarily the same ones.

Re: Lane Centering in "Driver Assistance Pack"
There is not such thing as intelligent cruise control. Wrong.... My FE has intelligent cruise control. This will set the cars speed to the speed limit signs the camera sees and maintain it. It is however unreliable as my traffic sign recognition camera software has not been updated and is capable o...

Re: Lane Centering in "Driver Assistance Pack"
Intelligent Cruise control is the same as Adaptive Cruise Control, the only difference is the Intelligent uses the camera to automatically maintain speed according to the roadside or variable speed signs aswell as maintain the distance between the car infront. Therefore part of the drivers assistan...

Re: Manual or automatic
Changing into 'Sports Mode' doesn't change the suspension set up, only the performance.. That is rather worrying as the Vignale only comes with 18"wheels and the car we drove had 17" I think. The sales rep implied that the suspension could be changed to a softer setting. The dealer was ta...

This video pretty much sums up how the lane keeping assist and warning works. Still about the same as 8 years ago

Re: Lane Centering in "Driver Assistance Pack"
I don’t believe the a Puma has the Lane Centering, just a lane keeping assist and lane departure warning system. The Driver Assist Pack (blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, a self-parking system, front parking sensors and rear-view camera) Mine also has the Intelligent Cruise control, b...

Re: Ford Puma (New) Automatic Ecoboost 1.0 (Non Hybrid) - Is it fast enough?
Feeling of "having fast enough" car depends on your previous vehicle. When I bought my current Fiesta 1.0 125bhp car it felt super fast compared to the old Fiesta I had. Now it doesn't feel that fast but the acceleration is very good in 3rd gear when overtaking some trucks etc. My next car...
