Re: Real MPG

Ours is 49.8 since we collected the car in July covering 3360 miles.

Other half has a 40 mile round trip - mostly dual carriageways / motorways and doesn’t hang around - I drive it mostly evenings / weekends. Mostly left in ‘normal’ mode, with the odd sport mode when I’m driving

My megabox is the triangular type so I bought a piece of ply board cut to size then covered with carpet material same as used to line cupboards in motor homes and the like. Spray glue was used for bonding. Covers the...

Re: Voice commands

I won’t use it as I find Ford’s voice recognition system pretty useless for navigation and finding contacts. Plus I can’t stand the voice! I use Apple car play and Google maps which seem to work much better for me

Re: Phone charging

I didn’t think it mattered too much with Lithium ion batteries, in fact I thought it was better to regularly top them up than fully discharge and charge them.. I’ve had a iphone 8 plus for 3 years and am constantly connecting and disconnecting it to sync in my works car during the day, and the batte...

Re: Ford Puma Titanium vs ST-Line (Sport Suspension vs Normal Suspension)

Our test drive was in an ST line (might have been X, can’t remember). The suspension did feel firmer than the Titanium we went for, and the seats did fit the body better. That said I drove up to the Scottish Highlands with only a short break and found the Titanium seats very comfortable (I’m 6’2” an...

Re: Dash cam

Hi, I ended up selling the dashcam I already had (Vantrue N2) when I got the Puma as I found I couldn't find a place on the screen where that big block behind the rear-view mirror didn't block half the field of view. Has anyone else run into this when fitting theirs? I've looked at the Ford one and...
