Clarkson's Puma review

Here is a subscription free link - from Australia - to read Jeremy Clarkson's recent review of the Puma: https://www.theaustralian.com.au/weekend-australian-magazine/ford-puma-stline/news-story/3eed43cb90bf4da68b514216a9c6b102 Initially it appears to be his usual anti-SUV spiel .... but then it turn...

Re: Road noise

@Wdf96 thanks - I think you're right, lots of comments on Ecocontact reviews about it being a harder compound summer tyre therefore noisy and winter grip not the best :( When I took delivery I had the common issue of tyres being left at showroom/transporter pressure (45psi) , took me a few days but ...

Re: Bike Rack

Hi Jack - happy to be proved wrong, but I believe the rear spoiler will make the rear mounted option a no no as there's a risk the pressure of the straps could break the spoiler which is basically plastic, and the further implications of that not pleasant - if you haven't got roof bars then I think ...

Re: Road noise

I have to say my only negative so far with the Puma is road noise ...maybe it's the terrible roads here in London, but I can hear it at all speeds...and of course it increases with intensity as you pick up speed ....it certainly seems a little better on the super smooth surfaces, on the rare occasio...

I'm always in sport mode round town. It's handy for the odd traffic light gp (giving you full boost) and regens li...

Re: Hello all - new Puma Desert Island Blue

Hey thanks for message I agree sports mode is brilliant when getting away from the lights - the power delivery is instant and keeps coming consistently through the gears - initially I found second gear just a little bit laggy in normal mode, I think because I needed to adjust to holding the revs mor...

Hello all - new Puma Desert Island Blue

Hello to everyone, I've had my new Puma a couple of weeks now - ST Line X FE 155 in Desert Island Blue - really enjoying the car, only short trips in town up until now so looking forward to going on a longer run soon to test out all the driver assistance aids - and sports mode! Only one issue so far...
