Looking at protection for the alloys but I'm finding a mixed response to sealing a matt/satin finish. Anyone on here had any success?

Told there is no need to but other than a cheeky blip today I'll be taking it easy for the first 1000 miles.

Call from the dealer to say the car arrived yesterday.

Was first told 23rd July, then last Monday moved 9th August. Confused.com Not going to knock it though.

Dealer has been told not to let the sponge monkeys near it, I'll collect dirty and clean it myself.

No key to put in it yet.
