How is a cap going to make an difference? I've owned plenty of cars that don't have a cap.

Re: Sync software update !!!
Mine was stuck on the 883mb update for a couple of months despite doing the update and uploading the log file. Then yesterday when checked it said the 22gb map update was ready.
I've downloaded the update but had to order at 32gb USB stick to upload to the car.

Re: Automatic door lock
I activated mine yesterday but as robgee said it can only be done by plugging a laptop into the car with software like Forscan and a USB to OBD adapter. This is my first Ford and first car that doesn't have this option as a standard feature. The dealer was not willing to activate it. It was a featur...

Re: Forscan / APIM Modifications
My cable turned up today and I managed to program the missing surround sound. I should have backed up the modules as advised in the links above especially as Forscan advised my battery voltage was 11.5v. I'll back them up when I next connect. I did try and program the auto locking in the BCM which ...

Re: Forscan / APIM Modifications
I did try and program the auto locking in the BCM which said was successful but no option in the cluster to switch on/off. There are various settings that influence the auto-lock behavior: One setting affects only the actual status of auto-lock: activated or deactivated and another setting controls...

Re: Can’t unlock from passenger side
Mine is doing exactly the same thing.
Passenger side lock/unlock from the door handle has stopped working.
Also my app is telling me its in power saving mode each time I drive it.
I've got to book it in for a few things so I'll add this to the list
