Re: Condensation inside windscreen

Just an update on this. I got in touch with the windscreen company and they came back out. They said when the second replacement windscreen was fitted they did not fit new rubber trims and just reused the old ones so agreed to come back with new trims which have now been fitted properly. Also they s...

Re: Condensation inside windscreen

Thanks for the replies. I don’t really ever use the ac to be fair and haven’t had this problem in the last 15 months I have owned the car. It has only been since the second new windscreen was fitted. Not sure if the rubber seals are supposed to be as they are in my photos, they appear to secure some...

Condensation inside windscreen

Hi I had a large crack in my windscreen just before Christmas and I had the screen replaced via my insurers. Unfortunately the glue got caught on the hanging pin when fitting it and it leaked, so I had to have a second new screen just after new year. Since having the second new screen I am suffering...

Re: Battery problem update

Thanks all, fingers crossed this has finally done the trick. I admit I don’t know why they changed the hybrid battery as I was under the impression that it isn’t connected to the 12v charging system but the dealer just did as the Ford technician said, plus with it all being done under warranty and a...

Re: Battery problem update

I have my car back finally, so time will now tell as to whether the problem is now resolved. After having the Ford field technician out to extract the data from the car the dealership were ordered by Ford to replace the 12v battery, the hybrid battery, the body control module and have done further s...

Re: Battery problem update

I’ve logged a formal complaint with Ford customer services today and they are assisting with getting on at the dealer. I’ve been told a Ford field engineer is coming out to the dealer on Friday to extract the data from the car and then take it away for analysis. They also said the battery was readin...

Re: Battery problem update

Mine is back at the dealer now for them to look at first thing tomorrow. It’s a half hour drive and before we even handed the keys over we had another notification. Seems like the battery is either extremely low on charge and not getting above the threshold or it’s not retaining its charge when driv...

Re: Battery problem update

I’ve just been out for a 30 minute drive to charge up the battery and the moment I got home and back in the house I had yet another deep sleep notification. I would have thought the drive would have sufficiently charged the battery so that I wouldn’t receive an almost immediate notification when I t...

Re: Battery problem update

Looks like I spoke too soon. Been out to wash it today and came in to find I had the deep sleep notification. Looks like a call to Ford tomorrow to get my money back and return it as I am at a loss as to what could possibly be wrong with it after all the software and module updates it has had already

Re: Battery problem update

Just to provide a further update on my issue, my Ford dealer received a response from Ford technical and have applied an update to the starter generator Control module and recharged the battery. I had the car back on Tuesday and whilst it is still very early days, touch wood I have had no deep sleep...
