Re: First Car, Worst Car, Best Car.

My first car was the original Escort XR3, which I bought in 1981. I did want an RS2000 but by the time I came out of the Royal Navy the car had been discontinued. The XR3 was a pain to drive, rock hard suspension, no power steering no ABS. Always wish I had bought a mark one Golf GTI, but haven take...

Re: What MPG are you getting?

I've just got 46.1 mpg from my May update. I've only covered 450 miles since getting the car in March. First two updates were in the high 30's. I only have the car in normal mode, with general miles covered in town driving, with the odd duel carriageway. There are no motorways in Northumberland beli...

Re: Car cleaning and valeting discussion

I've been using Wonder Wheels over the last few years, and found it to be really good and very good value for money, £6.50 from WILKO. As for the shampoo, I've returned to using Maguire's Gold Class, which again is really good with lots of suds. This is a bargain as it's almost two litres and cost £...

Re: Mud Flaps

When I ordered my Vignale in August, I was told mud flaps were not available for the Vignale due to the side sills. When I checked the accessory list, they were classed as 'unavailable' for this model. I've always had mud flaps on my previous cars, and thought they were always a good option.

Thank you, hope I can keep it that clean in the future. Always looks good when you drive away from the dealers.

Re: Agate black

Yes it came with the scuff plates, but no sports pedals.
Just getting used to having a handbrake again haha.
No drivers manuals now, it's all paperless, shame.
Not sure if anything else has changed since I ordered it in August.

Re: Puma delayed again

At long last, took delivery of the car on Friday. It took 7 months and 1 day from the day of ordering. So far so good, just having to get used to having a handbrake again as my last car, a Nissan Qashqai, had an electronic one. The dealer informed me there is a wait of 6 to 9 month if you order one ...

Re: Puma delayed again

Having ordered my Puma ST Line Vignale, Agate Black on 17th August 2021, it's finally at the dealers. So far it's had it's PDI, just waiting for the DVLA to transfer my plate. What a long time to wait, hope this doesn't happen again. Hopefully should pick it up soon. The dealer has honoured the orig...

Re: Puma delayed again

The last time I spoke to the sales person was 14th January. He informed me, after checking the system, my car was currently being built, and should be here in about a month. I rang him yesterday to request an update. As he wasn't available, I left a message for him to ring me back. No reply as usual...
